My aptitude test won't load

If your Greenbeam assessment or aptitude test won't load, don't panic. If a technical issue prevents you from completing your assessment, we can reset it so you can start again. This ensures your results aren't impacted by an assessment that couldn't be completed because of a technical problem.

The issue is often related to your browser, internet connection, or cached website data. Before contacting support, try the following troubleshooting steps.

Refresh the page

Refresh your browser and wait a few moments for the assessment to load. Temporary loading issues are often resolved by simply reloading the page.

Clear your browser cache

Cached files and cookies can sometimes prevent assessments from loading correctly. Clear your browser cache and cookies, then close and reopen your browser before trying again.

Use Google Chrome

Greenbeam is designed to work best in the latest version of Google Chrome. If you're using another browser, switch to Chrome and launch the assessment again.

Try an incognito or private browsing window

Browser extensions or stored website data can sometimes interfere with assessments. Opening Greenbeam in an incognito or private browsing window can help identify whether this is causing the issue.

Check your internet connection

A slow or unstable internet connection can prevent assessment content from loading completely. If possible, switch to a more reliable connection before trying again.

Close other browser tabs

Running multiple Greenbeam sessions or having many browser tabs open can affect performance. Close unnecessary tabs before relaunching your assessment.

Idea
If the assessment starts to load but becomes stuck on a blank screen or loading spinner, wait a minute before refreshing the page. Refreshing repeatedly can restart the loading process.
