Switching between Manager and Employee views

Jump between managing your own profile and your team.


If you have manager access, Greenbeam lets you move between two views: Manager view and Employee view.
  1. Manager view gives you the tools you need to support your team.
  2. Employee view lets you manage your own skills, profile, assessments, and development plan.
Switching views helps you keep team management separate from your own capability profile, while still working in the same Greenbeam account.

Before you start
  1. You must be signed in to Greenbeam.
  2. You need manager access to see Manager view.
  3. Your menu options may look different depending on your access level and organisation setup.

Switch to employee view
  1. Sign in to Greenbeam.
  2. In Manager view, use the top menu to select Employee view.
  3. Use Employee view to update your own profile, complete your skill and potential assessments, and build your own development plan.

Switch back to manager view
  1. When you are finished in Employee view, return to the top menu.Select Manager view.
  2. You will return to the manager tools used to support your team.

Employee view

Manage your own capability profile and development activity.

Update your profile, complete skill and potential assessments, and build your own development plan.

Troubleshooting
I cannot see the employee view button
Your menu options may be different depending on your access level. Check the top menu first. If you still cannot find it, contact your Greenbeam administrator or  support@thegreenbeam.com.

I cannot see the manager view button
You may not have manager access, or your manager permissions may not be configured. Contact your Greenbeam administrator or support@thegreenbeam.com.

I switched views and cannot find my team
Check that you are back in Manager view. Employee view is for your own profile, assessments, and development plan.

My menu looks different from the screenshots
Menu options can vary based on your access level and organisation setup. Use the view labels available in your top menu, or contact support if the expected option is missing.
