Unauthorised or API error

Unauthorised or API error

If you receive an Unauthorised or API Error message while using Greenbeam, it's usually caused by an expired login session or cached browser data.

Before contacting support, try the following steps.

Sign out and sign back in

Log out of Greenbeam completely, close your browser, then sign in again. This creates a new session and often resolves authentication-related errors.

Clear your browser cache

Cached website data can sometimes cause authentication or session issues. Clear your browser cache and cookies, then sign in again.

Google provides instructions for clearing your cache here:

Refresh the page

If the error occurred after your session had been open for a while, refresh the page after signing back in.

Idea
Unauthorised and API errors are commonly caused by an expired login session. Signing out completely before signing back in is often enough to resolve the issue.
